UstaadSearch is a free platform connecting teachers and tutors with educational institutions and tutoring opportunities in Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and who we share it with.

- Account information: name, email, phone number, and account role (teacher, institution, or student) when you register.
- Teacher profile information: education history, teaching experience, subjects, city, gender, rates, and your CV.
- Institution profile information: institution name, address, description, curriculum board, working days, benefits, and campus/banner photos.
- Usage information: pages and profiles you view, jobs you view or apply to, and similar interaction data used to power search and recommendations.
- Reviews: ratings and written reviews you leave for a teacher or institution.
- Messages you send us: anything you submit through the contact form.
3. How We Use Information
- To operate your account and display your public profile.
- To power search, filtering, and AI-assisted matching between teachers, tutor jobs, and job posts — profile and job data is processed by our AI search and recommendation providers for this purpose.
- To send email notifications and digests about matching jobs, applications, and account activity.
- To understand how the site is used, via aggregate website analytics.
4. How Information Is Shared
- Public profiles: teacher and institution profiles, including reviews and ratings, are visible to anyone browsing the site.
- WhatsApp: "Contact via WhatsApp" buttons open a chat with the other party's phone number directly in WhatsApp. That conversation happens on WhatsApp, operated by Meta, under WhatsApp's own privacy policy — not this one.
- Service providers: we use AWS S3 to store uploaded files (CVs, profile and campus photos), Resend to deliver email, and Google Analytics to measure site usage. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
- We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data Retention
